Dear Friend,

“The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” written by Stephen R. Covey is a path breaking book on personal Growth and Success.  I had the opportunity to read it in 1996. As I was convinced that the 7 Habits are a holistic approach to life and living, I started practising these habits.  After nearly 15 years of sincere application I have been able to put into practice all the 7 Habits.

        The Result?

Have I become a Super person?

Not really! But I have got something better. I have discovered for myself what it means to be me.  I have identified my center, which is a point in a circle which is equidistant from all the points on its circumference.

In the very words of Stephen Covey from this one clear center, we can derive a high degree of security, guidance, wisdom and power empowering our proactivity and giving contingency and harmony to every part of our life.  Covey calls this the Principle Centre.  By centering on correct principles we cannot err and success with happiness become ours by right and choice.

Most of us have heard about “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” written by Stephen R.Covey. Some of us could have read a few chapters of the book.  A few, the whole book.  A very few would have actually internalised the learning.

I strongly recommend that you read the book fully. But don’t stop there.  Internalise the 7 habits by practicing them. Start on the journey that I began almost 15 years ago.

The Seven Habits are a mighty ocean.  What you get from an ocean entirely depends on what you carry to an ocean!  Come with huge vessels and take back great benefits!.

Transform yourself, your family, your organisation, your world.

Sincerely yours,

S. Srikanth
